About ldfrazier

I'm not very good with digital photography so I don't have a picture.  I'll get my daughter to help me insert one later.  I have not been steadily employed since 2005 and we have really been struggling financially since then. My husband's main job of 20 years is steady, but we had just bought a house when my work dropped drastically. I earned a B.S. degree in secondary chemistry education in 2001 and had hoped to start a second career after being laid off from my job of 15 years as an engineering/process technician.  I was able to work as a teacher for 2 years with a special certificate but I didn't pass my Praxis II and my certificate expired.  I've worked as a substitute since and have not been able to find another job, so I haven't had the money to retake the test and get certified.  I substitute "as needed" and I have not been getting very much work.  My husband's income alone is not enough. He is a licensed, ordained,  minister and occasionally he is asked to preach and is given a donation. This has helped but not enough. Now we're behind on our house payments.  We need some financial assistance to catch our mortgage up and  help me pay for study materials and the test fee so I can get my teaching certificate.  I have not been holding out for a teaching job, I've been applying for every available job that I'm qualified for, but I have not gotten any offers. I know I could find work as a science teacher if I had my certificate.   We need help fast.
